Vincent of Twin Rivers (Norbert 444 x Jorn 430 x Jurjen 303)
2017/18 Show Season
Vincent of Twin Rivers has been out and about doing the local ag shows to further his education and familiarize him with people, other horses and all the fun things at the fair.
He was Awarded Champion Purebred Friesian and also Supreme Friesian Exhibit at the 2017 Royal Geelong Show, as well as Champion Purebred Friesian at Warrnambool, Port Fairy and Ballarat Shows - an amazing effort by a young stallion that turned three at the end of November.
We took Vincent for a training day to the Australian Friesian Warmblood Horse of the Year competition where he won two Championships, and was then awarded the Horse of the Year - 2018 Grand Champion Led Baroque Exhibit.
We are expecting 3 foals by Vincent this coming season - stay tuned for their birth announcements
Vincent of Twin Rivers was presented to the Judging Jury of the 2017 ANZFHS/KFPS Victorian Keuring and was awarded a Third Premie (3e). The Judges were very positive in their comments on him, and we look forward to watching him continue to grow and mature over the coming two years, starting under saddle, and hopefully being presented to the Judging Jury again in April 2019.
Wilbert van Gelder (BB1)
Wil has had a busy life encompassing breed shows, dressage competitions, KFPS Keurings, Liberty Training and Demonstrations, Equitana Stud Ambassador, and the list goes on. He has been successful in his breeding career, with his semen shipments achieving 100% pregnancy success first cycle todate. Wil stamps his progeny with strong traits including putting leg under them, natural movement and great conformation, lots of mane and tail, and great characters.
Wil's sire, Hilwert L, has secured his Sport Predicate for Dressage (10 winning points at Medium Level Dressage EA Competition), and is now out competing in show driving / harness classes in New South Wales.
Wil's progeny are also out competing in a variety of disciplines now, including but not limited to: dressage, inhand and ridden showing, pleasure, demonstration and harness. We are looking forward to our Twin Rivers Mischka turning her hoof to some low level eventing in the coming season, having been quite consisitent in the dressage arena.
Wil has been retired from standing at stud and will be pursuing his dressage career this season.
